Job Description

Title: Solution Architect(Pre Sales)
Location:  Remote - Preferable from the Central zone - Travel once a month to client location
Duration: 24 months (With extensions)

About the role

We're hiring a generalist Solution Architect to lead presales solutioning across multiple towers — cloud, applications, ERP, and application modernization — for enterprise clients across North America. You'll own the technical shape of a deal end to end: from early discovery and requirements through solution design, estimation, and the proposal defense, and you'll be in front of the client throughout. You should be equally comfortable in an architecture working session with a customer's engineers and in a boardroom walking a CIO through the business case.

This is a hands-on, client-facing solutioning role, not a back-office design function. You will run discovery, architect across towers, stitch together multi-tower solutions and their commercials, and be accountable for the technical win. Breadth matters more than depth in any single tower — you know enough across cloud, apps, and ERP to own the whole, and you know when to pull in a tower specialist.

What you'll do

•     Lead presales solutioning for enterprise pursuits spanning multiple towers — cloud (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform), application development and modernization, ERP (SAP, Oracle, or comparable), data, and managed services.

•     Run client discovery and requirements workshops; translate ambiguous business problems into a coherent cross-tower solution, architecture, and delivery approach.

•     Own the end-to-end solution design and integration story across towers — how cloud, applications, ERP, and infrastructure fit together into one deliverable, defensible whole.

•     Drive estimation, staffing models, and build-vs-buy and platform decisions; partner with delivery, tower specialists, and pricing to shape competitive, deliverable commercials.

•     Write and defend proposals, SOWs, and architecture responses (RFP/RFI); present and defend the solution to client stakeholders through to the technical win.

•     Act as the client-facing technical lead throughout the pursuit — building trust, managing objections, and communicating clearly with both technical teams and executive buyers.

•     Partner with sales and account teams on pursuit strategy, win themes, and executive readouts; support smooth transition from sold solution into delivery.

What we're looking for

•     10+ years in solution architecture or presales solutioning, with a track record of winning and shaping enterprise deals in a consulting, systems integrator, or services environment.

•     Multi-tower breadth. Demonstrated ability to architect across cloud, application development and modernization, and ERP — and to own an integrated, cross-tower solution rather than a single stack.

•     Cloud fluency. Hands-on architecture experience on at least one major cloud (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform), including migration and modernization patterns, integration, and well-architected trade-offs.

•     ERP and applications exposure. Working knowledge of enterprise application landscapes and at least one major ERP (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, or comparable) and how it integrates with cloud and custom applications.

•     Presales rigor. Experience running discovery, estimation, and effort/staffing models, and authoring and defending proposals, SOWs, and RFP/RFI responses.

•     Exceptional client presence and communication. You are credible and composed in front of clients — from an engineer's whiteboard to a CXO business case — and can influence without direct authority.

•     Based in North America and willing to travel to client sites as pursuits require.

Nice to have

•     Experience across regulated verticals — financial services, insurance, healthcare, or manufacturing.

•     Relevant cloud, ERP, or architecture certifications (e.g., TOGAF, cloud professional-level architect certs).

•     Exposure to data/analytics or AI/ML solutioning as an additional tower in multi-tower deals.

•     CS, engineering, or a quantitative degree. MBA welcome but not required.
