VitalHire is hiring a per diem EEG Technologist for an acute care hospital in Tarzana, CA.
Per diem details
- Hourly pay: $48.50/hr
- Shift: Day (1x8 Hours) 8:30 17:00
- Flexible per diem shifts
- Start date: 11/23/2026
- Openings: 3
About the role
- All shifts are on-call; shift lengths vary (8, 10, 12 and 24 hours), mostly starting between 6:00 and 9:00 AM.
- Pick up shifts through the scheduling app.
- Portables, ambulatory EEG, sleep EEG and long-term monitoring; operate and calibrate equipment.
- Inpatient and/or outpatient settings; evoked potentials experience preferred.
- Highest historical demand: Saturdays, then Tuesday, Sunday and Thursday.
- One day of orientation, scheduled around your availability.
Requirements
- 1+ year of recent EEG technologist experience, including pediatric/neonatal EEG (required)
- On-call experience required
- BLS (AHA)
- ABRET EEG certification (R. EEG T.) preferred; Epic experience preferred
- References covering 1 year of employment in the specialty within the last 3 years, including 1 supervisor
Experience Required: 1 year
Certifictions Required: BLS
Certifications Preferred: ABRET EEG certification
