SAP BOM Project Lead - £Market Rate/day Inside IR35 - Hybrid/UK - 1st October start

* Travel will only be as and when required, not on site weekly & for this role travel to the site in the UK won't be expensed but the travel to other sites will be expensed.*

Key Requirements

• Proven experience leading large-scale transformation programmes, ideally spanning ERP, PLM or Master Data
• Strong expertise in Bill of Materials (BOM) governance, including BOM structures, material master data, life cycle controls, data quality and traceability.
• Good working knowledge of SAP ECC and S/4HANA, alongside PLM platforms and the integration between engineering and ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of Engineering, Manufacturing and Supply Chain processes, including Engineering Change Management and product life cycle processes.
• Excellent programme leadership, stakeholder/vendor management and organisational change capabilities, with experience coordinating complex cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end BOM governance transformation, defining the roadmap, governance framework, operating model and standardised processes.
• Own overall programme delivery, including scope, budget, resources, timelines, risks, dependencies, governance, KPIs and executive reporting.
• Establish and improve BOM and master data governance, covering ownership, data standards, approvals, change control, quality, traceability and compliance.
• Oversee integration between PLM, SAP and associated engineering/manufacturing systems, supporting consistent end-to-end BOM processes and future ERP transformation.
• Drive cross-functional stakeholder alignment and business adoption, including communications, training, business readiness and implementation of new governance practices.
