Senior .NET Developer with Oracle, SSRS and Government Agency Experience (Onsite Albany, NYC)

We are seeking a Senior .NET Developer to support a New York State government agency in Albany, NY. This is a 24-month engagement for an experienced developer who can design, build, and maintain N-tier web applications and reporting solutions in a public-sector environment. The role is onsite from Day 1.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain N-tier .NET web applications
• Build and optimize PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, and triggers in Oracle
• Develop web applications using the Model View Controller (MVC) pattern
• Create, maintain, and enhance reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
• Build responsive, interactive front-end functionality with jQuery
• Collaborate with agency stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and database issues
• Follow government agency standards for security, documentation, and change management

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in .NET technologies
• 7+ years of experience with Oracle
• 5+ years of experience with SSRS
• Prior experience working with government agencies
• 84 months (7 years) of experience developing N-tier .NET web applications
• 72 months (6 years) of experience with PL/SQL, writing packages, stored procedures, and triggers
• 60 months (5 years) of experience using Model View Controller (MVC)
• 60 months (5 years) of experience using SQL Server Reporting Services
• 36 months (3 years) of experience using jQuery
