Manager, Application Development

Cargill is seeking a Manager, Application Development to lead cross-functional teams delivering secure, scalable applications that power our global food and agriculture operations. This role sits at the intersection of technology, management, and leadership, guiding solution design, development, and integration across complex enterprise environments. You will mentor engineers, champion Agile practices, and partner with business leaders to prioritize and deliver value-driven roadmaps. Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end application development initiatives aligned to Cargill's IT and business strategies
• Manage and mentor development teams, promoting a culture of learning, safety, and inclusion
• Define application architecture and technical standards ensuring scalability, security, and reliability
• Partner with stakeholders across business units to prioritize and deliver technology solutions
• Oversee project delivery, budgets, and vendor relationships using Agile ways of working
• Implement best practices for Dev
• Ops, CI/CD, and cloud-based development
• Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and data privacy requirements
• Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and adoption of modern development tools and practices
