Data Engineer
Location: Dallas, Texas (Remote)
Role Overview
We are seeking a Data Engineer for a remote position. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data engineering, particularly with AWS services, ETL processes, and various database platforms. This role involves working with a range of technologies to build and maintain robust data pipelines and infrastructure.
Required Qualifications

• Experience with Change Management and Deployments.
• Demonstrated Data Engineering experience.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python/PySpark.
• Experience with CI/CD tools: Terraform and GitLab.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Services: AWS Glue, State Machines/StepFunctions, Lambda, Cloudwatch, and API Gateway.
• Knowledge of AI tools: Kiro and CoPilot.
• Experience with Database Platforms: Redshift and S3.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SWA's Cloud Common Platform (CCP).
• ETL Tools: Abinitio.
• Observability: Cloudwatch.
• Streaming: Kafka.
• Containerization: Docker, Fargate.
• Database Platforms: Databricks, Aurora, Oracle, DynamoDB.
• Experience with Performance Testing.
• Data Analytics experience.
• AWS Services: EC2, EMR, VPC.
