Job Description
Cura of Sauk Centre is seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Trained Medication Aide/Certified Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Medication Aide, you will be responsible for administering medications to patients according to prescribed instructions, monitoring for side effects, and maintaining accurate medication records. You will work closely with nursing and medical staff to ensure patients receive safe and effective medication management. We offer 4-, 8- and 12- hour shifts and flexible weekend scheduling. PRN, full- and part-time positions are available.

Responsibilities:
- Administer medications to patients as prescribed, following established protocols and safety procedures.
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions and report any concerns promptly.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medication records and documentation.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of medications in compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.
- Support CNAs on the floor
- Adhere to all organizational policies, healthcare regulations, and safety standards.
- Certification as a Medication Aide and Nursing Assistant.
- Previous experience in medication administration preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow protocols and maintain patient safety.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare staff.
- Reliable and responsible with a professional approach to patient care.
- Basic understanding of medication types, side effects, and safety considerations.
