Salesforce Field Service QA Engineer- 100% Remote

Tell us more about the role. What will this person be doing on a day-to-day basis? What are the main objectives for this role?

o          Hands-on Salesforce QA role focused primarily on manual testing today, with plans to move toward automation.

o          One QA will support the Salesforce Field Service workstream, including supply chain processes such as parts, distribution, and returns.

o          Get involved early in the development lifecycle to understand what is being built and the underlying business need.

o          Create test plans and test cases that can eventually be leveraged for automation.

o          Perform investigative testing rather than simply executing predefined test cases.

o          Validate that solutions meet both technical requirements and the actual business process.

o          Work closely with systems analysts, developers, implementation partners, and business stakeholders.

Must have requirements:

o          Deep Salesforce experience.

o          Salesforce Field Service experience, particularly for the Field Service workstream.

o          Strong manual QA/testing experience.

o          Ability to create test plans and detailed test cases.

o          SQL for backend/data validation.

o          Strong understanding of business processes and ability to identify when a solution may not meet the actual business need.

o          Investigative testing mindset – someone who will dig into the system and try to break it.

o          Comfortable challenging developers/analysts when necessary.

o          Experience working in an FDA-regulated environment/with traceability.

o          Experience working alongside automation teams is beneficial; does not need to personally automate tests.

o          Jira; Seffer is a nice-to-have.
