Hedge Fund Treasury or Prime Financing Specialist – Senior Sales Role – Incredible market leading firm

This specialist business is growing, and has hired some truly inspirational and those with outstanding pedigree from the Hedge Fund and Prime Brokerage sectors with strong Financing and/or Treasury knowledge so far. To be considered for this role, CassonX are looking to ideally attract a proven Hedge Fund Treasury (or Trader) person who offers experience of working with Prime Brokers (PB), and can showcase experience of choosing relevant PB’s and being involved in the negotiations of agreements accordingly. They would also consider someone coming from a FinTech firm used to selling to Alternatives, or a PB where you have experienced technical Financing from a front office back ground, or even a Client Coverage background. You will have an understanding of how Treasury and Financing might work, showcasing examples of how this has been achieved in your fund or PB. What is essential is that you must sales experience or ability, already have a book of connections that can instantly open the door in the Alternatives sector, and be memorable for being an expert in Financing. You will offer a consultative demeanour, an ability to hold face to face meetings with industry peers whilst acting with credibility, and a natural flare to be inquisitive to understand what peers do with their vendors and solutions, yet not afraid to probe to see if they can be improved or more favourable.

There is no hiding that this role is to help this FinTech firm grow their client base in the Hedge Fund sector, but we must be clear that this is not a high volume Investor Relations / Cap Raising style cold calling role. They are much more considered than a typical “numbers game” type of sales role. They would like to bring someone in who has extensive knowledge and connections in the Alternatives industry already, offering credibility, gravitas and expertise, and showcasing what their platform can do to save time and monies for the potential new client. This role suits someone with knowledge and experience surrounding Prime Brokers and how to manage their relationships and Financing as example. It’s a unique role because they almost don’t want you in the office stuck behind a desk, they would rather see you out and about having coffees, beers, attending events or even hosting round tables to enhance reputations and potential sales.
