Our client is a Series B vertical software company rebuilding the HR, finance and operations systems that construction and field services contractors run on, using AI and embedded payments. Since launching in 2021 it has grown to thousands of customers and tens of millions in ARR, and has raised more than $50M from top investors. More than a quarter of its engineers and product managers are ex-founders, and the team hires for slope, not intercept.

About the Role

Lead the design and implementation of products and systems end to end on a lean, AI-native engineering team. Engineers here run their projects from technical blueprint to full-stack implementation and talk to customers directly.

What You Will Do

Lead the design and implementation of products and systems end to end.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape product architecture and the technical roadmap.

Raise technical quality through detailed feedback on blueprints and code review.

Work full stack across a TypeScript codebase, from React and React Native to Node and Express services.

Build direct relationships with customers and turn their feedback into shipped product.

What We Are Looking For

Four to nine years as a full-stack engineer on complex products, and you already hold a Senior title.

Recent or current experience at a high-growth startup (Series A to D) with a strong engineering bar.

Strong fundamentals across frontend UIs, backend APIs and modular infrastructure and services.

Expertise in data modeling and API development.

Product and user orientation, with a founder's mindset and strong written communication.

Tech Stack

React, React Native, Node, Express, MongoDB, TypeScript, Stripe (Issuing and Treasury).

Compensation and Benefits

$200,000-$240,000 base salary plus 0.5% equity.

Location and Work Model

Hybrid, four days a week in the office in San Francisco or New York City. You must not require visa sponsorship.
