Job Description
This Wireless Engineer II contract opportunity is based in Denver area, supporting a leading Wi-Fi Hardware Development team focused on next-generation wireless technologies including WiFi 7, WiFi 6e, and advanced extender and enterprise controllers products. This is a full-time contract role working hands-on with cutting-edge wireless hardware in a lab-driven engineering environment.

Contract Duration: 6-12 Months, extendable
Required Skills & Experience
In-depth knowledge of WiFi 7, WiFi 6e, and 802.11 protocols
Strong understanding of wireless networking, OSI model, and TCP/IP
Wireless standards testing, performance evaluation, and troubleshooting
Knowledge of IEEE, ANSI, 802.11 variants, switching, routing, and Ethernet
Bachelor's degree in CS, EE, or equivalent experience
3-5 years of wireless network or hardware testing experience
Cisco Certified Wireless Network Professional or equivalent vendor training
Desired Skills & Experience
Experience with customer premise equipment (CPE) hardware
Familiarity with lab environments and structured test methodologies
Vendor engagement for bug remediation and requirement alignment
Hands-on experience with tools such as Ixia, Spirent, Octobox, Rohde & Schwarz
