Job Description

Head of Section for Diabetic and Neuropathic Foot Diseases | Munich, Germany | Hybrid We are a highly specialized, renowned orthopedic clinic and an academic teaching hospital, dedicated to providing excellent patient care and advancing medical knowledge. With a strong focus on innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration, we are seeking to expand our leading center for foot and ankle surgery. The Role - Lead the operative and conservative treatment of national and international patients with diabetic and neuropathic foot diseases. - Drive structural and organizational development of the section, collaborating with the center's leadership team. - Represent the specialized field at congresses and further education events, enhancing the center's visibility. - Foster strong relationships with referring physicians, patient associations, and collaborating disciplines like vascular surgery and rehabilitation medicine. - Actively engage in professional societies to contribute to the advancement of the field. What You'll Need - Specialist in Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery with a focus on orthopedic surgery or specialized trauma surgery. - Expertise certification such as GFFC or DAF, or be an EFAS Certified Foot and Ankle Surgeon. - Demonstrated scientific engagement, ideally with a completed habilitation or pursuing one.
