Job Description
Join a rapidly growing, multi-unit hospitality organization as its first HR Director. This newly created leadership role offers the opportunity to build the HR function from the ground up while partnering with executive leadership to support continued growth.
Salary + Benefits
- $135,000 base salary + annual bonus + stock options

Requirements + Qualifications
- 6+ years of HR leadership experience in a multi-unit, multi-state hospitality, restaurant, retail, or similar environment
- Expertise in employee relations, employment law, compliance, performance management, and benefits
- Proven success partnering with executive leadership and developing high-performing teams
- Experience with HRIS platforms (ADP Workforce Now highly preferred)
- Must be able to work onsite 3 days a week in Washington, DC and travel regularly to operating locations
Role + Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day HR function across multiple locations, including employee relations, compliance, benefits, and HR operations
- Partner with executive leadership to develop scalable people strategies that support growth
- Coach and advise leaders on performance management, investigations, and organizational development
- Develop and improve HR policies, systems, and processes while ensuring legal compliance
- Build a people-first culture through visible, hands-on leadership across the organization
Preferred Background
- Multi-unit restaurant, hospitality, or retail operations experience
- Experience building or transforming HR functions during periods of growth
- Strong background in HR systems, process improvement, and change management
- Spanish language skills are a plus
- Hands-on, collaborative leader who thrives in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments
