Human Resources Manager


Join an established organization as a Human Resources Manager, overseeing approximately

Human Resources Manager Requirements & Qualifications


  • 5–6 years of Human Resource experience
  • Strong knowledge of California labor laws
  • Experience managing LOA, FMLA, COBRA, PDL, and PFL programs
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; SHRM certification is a plus
  • Experience with union employees a plus


Human Resources Manager Preferred Background & Skills


  • Previous work with unionized workforces
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities


Human Resources Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities


  • Oversee all recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding processes for new hires
  • Serve as the main point of contact for HR issues, investigations, and labor law updates, reporting directly to the CEO
  • Monitor and manage workers' compensation claims and EDD matters
  • Oversee administration of all leave programs
  • Lead negotiations and management of open enrollment and employee benefit packages
