  • *The Role**
  • Provide essential support to complex submarine shipbuilding program offices.
  • Contribute to the development and sustainment of strategic and attack submarine programs.
  • Apply scientific and mathematical principles to solve technical challenges in naval engineering.
  • Oversee aspects of design, testing, qualification, and production of naval equipment.
  • Analyze the environmental and user impact of developed systems and products.

  • *What You'll Need**
  • Master's degree in a technical or engineering discipline.
  • 7 years of professional engineering experience (desired).
  • 7+ years of experience in the design, test, qualification, and production of naval shipboard electrical and/or propulsion equipment (desired).
  • Knowledge and experience with submarines and/or the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program (desired).
  • Experience with large electrical machines and/or power electronics (desired).
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must possess a Secret security clearance.
