Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in capital markets, investment banking, and financial services. The candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end project delivery, coordinating business and technology teams, tracking project milestones, managing risks, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate should have experience managing financial technology projects involving trading systems, securities, trade processing, risk management, or regulatory initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end project planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and senior management.
• Gather project requirements and define scope, timelines, deliverables, and milestones.
• Develop project plans, resource plans, budgets, and status reports.
• Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
• Coordinate with business analysts, developers, QA teams, and infrastructure teams.
• Lead Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, status meetings, and project reviews where applicable.
• Track project progress and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure alignment between business objectives and technology deliverables.
• Manage UAT, implementation, deployment, and post-production support activities.
• Ensure compliance with financial industry standards, governance, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage vendor relationships, resource allocation, and cross-functional dependencies.

Required Skills

• Strong experience as a Project Manager in capital markets, investment banking, or financial services.
• Experience managing technology or business transformation projects.
• Knowledge of capital markets products, including equities, fixed income, bonds, derivatives, and securities.
• Understanding of the trade lifecycle, trade execution, clearing, settlement, and reconciliation.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience with project planning, budgeting, risk management, and delivery tracking.
• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate geographically distributed teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with trading platforms, front-office, middle-office, or back-office systems.
• Knowledge of market data, risk management, regulatory reporting, or post-trade processing.
• Experience with financial regulations and compliance initiatives.
• Familiarity with FIX protocol, SWIFT, Bloomberg, or Refinitiv systems.
• PMP, PMI-ACP, or Scrum Master certification.
• Experience managing large-scale banking technology implementations.
