Health Science Division Clinical Adjunct

The Health Sciences Division is dedicated to preparing students for success beyond Rose State College. The Division consists of innovative, nurturing faculty who strive to deliver quality courses that prepare students with the skills and knowledge necessary for academic transfer to other institutions and/or to enter the job market. Clinical adjunct faculty are an integral part of the division and bring valuable real-world experience, technological expertise, practical applications, and innovative educational approaches to students in a variety of healthcare environments, including hospitals, dental offices, laboratories, physician offices, and other clinical settings.

Openings for Clinical Adjunct Professor(s) may be available in the following areas of study:

• Medical Laboratory Technology
• Dental Assisting
• Dental Hygiene
• Nursing Science
• Radiologic Technology
• Respiratory Therapist

Minimum Qualifications: Educational requirements vary by discipline.

• Dental Hygiene – Associate’s degree in dental Hygiene plus current Registered Dental Hygienist (R.D.H.) certificate.
• Medical Lab Technology – Associate’s degree in medical laboratory technology and current ASCP, AMT, or ABB certification; and one (1) year of experience as a medical laboratory professional.
• Nursing – Bachelor’s in nursing, current RN license, and a minimum of two (2) years' experience within the last five (5) years in a clinical setting.
• Radiologic Technology – Associate's degree and current ARRT credential

• Respiratory Therapy – Associate's degree and current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification

Pay Rate: $44 per hour

An unofficial degree-conferring transcript must be received by this office for formal consideration; however, should an offer of employment be extended, official transcripts are required.

All finalists may be subject to a background check and/or drug test.

Must be eligible to work in the United States.
