Physician Assistant (PA)

Job Type: Full-Time 9am-5pm

Setting: Outpatient Occupational Health / Medical Office

Salary: $72.00-$81.00 per hour / $150,000.-$170,000.00 salary 1099 position.

Our goal is to provide efficient, professional medical services while ensuring that each patient receives the appropriate evaluation and documentation needed to safely return to or begin work.

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing clinical team. Position Summary The Physician Assistant will be responsible for performing occupational health examinations, reviewing laboratory and diagnostic results, evaluating patients for medical clearance, completing required medical documentation, and administering vaccines.

What We Are Looking For We are looking for a PA who is clinically responsible, organized, communicative, and comfortable working with a high volume of occupational health patients.

Key Responsibilities

● Perform pre-employment and annual physical examinations.

● Conduct occupational health evaluations and medical clearances.

● Review patient medical history, medications, vital signs, laboratory results, immunization records, and diagnostic testing.

● Review Quantiferon/TB testing, MMR titers, drug screening results, and other required occupational health testing.

● Evaluate abnormal findings and determine whether additional documentation, testing, or medical clearance is required.

● Complete physical examination forms, annual medical forms, and other required documentation.

● Educate patients regarding follow-up care when appropriate.

● Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements.

● Assist in maintaining an efficient patient flow within the office. Qualifications

● Physician Assistant license in New York State.

● Current NCCPA certification.

● Current professional malpractice insurance or ability to obtain coverage as required.

● Current BLS certification preferred.

● Excellent documentation and communication skills.

● Comfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient environment.

● Ability to work collaboratively with both clinical and administrative teams.

● Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
