Strategic Technical Lead - Role Overview:

·       Looking for a senior technical leader to provide strategic technical oversight, architecture governance, and engineering leadership across a large Dynamics 365 CRM and Power Platform organization.

·       This is not a traditional Solution Architect, Enterprise Architect, or Lead Developer position.

·       The ideal candidate operates similarly to a Microsoft technical advisor or EDE-style engagement lead, balancing architecture guidance, engineering best practices, technical governance, and organizational mentorship. The individual should be capable of influencing technical direction across multiple teams while partnering effectively with delivery leadership, architects, developers, product teams, and executive stakeholders.

·       This role requires equal strengths in technology, communication, leadership, and decision-making.

Primary Objectives:

·       The selected candidate will:

o   Establish and govern technical standards across multiple CRM teams.

o   Drive sound architectural decision-making.

o   Reduce technical debt and platform complexity.

o   Improve engineering quality and delivery consistency.

o   Mentor architects, lead developers, and technical leads.

o   Provide independent technical recommendations and challenge assumptions when necessary.

o   Identify technical and operational risks before they become delivery issues.

o   Guide platform modernization and future-state architecture planning.

o   Help leadership make technology decisions based on business outcomes, supportability, maintainability, and long-term value.
