Nursery: Children 1st Derby Road Nursery School

Hours: Full time 40 hours per week or 24 hours over 3 days

Salary: Up to £13.30 Per hour depending on qualifications and experience

Qualification - Must hold a Level 2 or above in childcare

How you’ll spend your time here

You’ll plan activities, observe progress and manage personal care for children. Applying the Storal curriculum & our pedagogy principles to our children daily.

Whilst seeking out learning opportunities in everyday routines such as mealtimes & transitions. Bonding with your children and their families by engaging in meaningful moments.
You’ll also deliver high levels of care and empathy, with an understanding that every opportunity can be a learning opportunity.

We’d love to talk to you if you have the following

· An Early Years qualification at Level 2 or 3 

· Experience of working with all age groups within Early Years settings

· Knowledge of the EYFS framework would be advantageous

Our happy nursery allows children to imagine, wonder and learn, both indoors and outside, whether it’s our creative play and sensory rooms or our large garden that’s ready for adventures. We work collaboratively with parents, a partnership that truly enhances children's learning and development.

Storal sets the highest of standards when it coming to safeguarding, the welfare of children and creating a work environment that encourages feedback-discussion-resilience. We take our role in the safety of children, our families and our team extremely seriously. As governed by the EYFS, we have a designated safeguarding lead in each setting and all staff (and volunteers) complete a through compliance checks prior to employment including employment references & DBS.
