Location: Malvern
Type: Permanent
Salary: £50,000 - £90,000 (dependent on experience/SFIA level)
Clearance: Must hold or be eligible for MOD DV or eDV clearance (UK eyes only - sole UK nationality required)

The Company

A large consultancy working on some of the most technically demanding programmes in defence, nuclear and utilities. You'll be solving real-world problems for the MOD and other critical national infrastructure clients, not sat on the bench. The Role

Join a growing firmware team working on a live research and proof-of-concept programme, with a strong likelihood of extending into a 2-year build if the initial phase lands well. You'll be hands-on with embedded software and firmware, working closely with hardware and IT as the environment is stood up in Malvern.

What You'll Be Doing

• Designing, developing and testing embedded firmware for [add specific platform/domain once confirmed]
• Working closely with hardware engineers as the lab/test environment is built out
• Supporting the research phase (first 6 months) with a view to proof of concept
• Collaborating with a small, focused team (2-3 firmware engineers on this programme)

What You'll Need

• Strong embedded software/firmware experience (SFIA 3-6 - open on level, so both developing and senior engineers welcome to apply)
• Comfortable working in secure, regulated environments
• Must hold or be eligible to obtain MOD DV or eDV clearance
• Sole UK national (no dual nationality) due to the sensitivity of this work
