Senior Network Engineer

Senior Network Engineer | £550p/day (Inside IR35) | 3 days on site in London | 6 months | Arista 7150 and Cisco, Low latency

We're looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join a critical network refresh programme supporting financial exchange. Experience working in trading/low latency exchange is a necessity.

You'll be responsible for replacing and migrating approximately 60 end of life Arista 7150 and Cisco Switches, working within tightly controlled weekend change windows.

Rate: £550p/day (Inside IR35)
Location: 3 days on site in London
Length: 6 months

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the replacement and migration of approximately 60 Arista 7150 and Cisco Switches
• Apply and validate customised switch configurations with a high degree of accuracy
• Manage external connectivity to financial exchanges and Extranet environments
• Configure and troubleshoot BGP and multicast routing within live trading environments
• Deliver all migration and change activity with zero downtime

Key Experience Required

• Strong hands-on Arista experience, specifically the Arista 7150 series
• Experience with Firewalls in complex network environments
• Strong Extranet connectivity experience
• Strong production-level BGP and multicast knowledge
