We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team, covering the northern region of the country. This is an excellent opportunity for someone located within an hour and a half of Manchester to work with cutting-edge machinery, receive industry-leading training, and enjoy a competitive compensation package.

Responsibilities Perform maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a wide range of plant machinery.<br />Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.<br />Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment is operating efficiently and safely.<br />Provide exceptional customer service while working on-site at client locations.<br />Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used.<br />Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.<br />Collaborate with the technical support team to resolve complex issues.<br />Qualifications Proven experience as a plant engineer, mobile engineer, or similar role.<br />Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.<br />Relevant qualifications in engineering or plant maintenance (NVQ, City &amp; Guilds, or equivalent).<br />Ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively.<br />Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.<br />Full UK driving license.<br />Strong communication and customer service skills.<br />Day-to-Day Travel to customer sites across the northern region to perform maintenance and repairs.<br />Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve faults.<br />Liaise with customers to provide updates and ensure satisfaction with completed work.<br />Maintain and manage the company-provided van, ensuring it is stocked with necessary tools and parts.<br />Attend manufacturer training sessions to stay updated on the latest technologies and machinery.<br />Benefits Competitive hourly rate of £19.50 - £21.00 per hour.<br />40-hour workweek with overtime paid at 1.5x after 40 hours.<br />Fully equipped company van with door-to-door pay and personal use allowance.<br />Comprehensive pension scheme.<br />Death in service benefit.<br />Private health insurance for you and your family.<br />25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays.<br />Holiday incentive scheme to reward long service.<br />Access to manufacturer training and professional development opportunities.<br />If you are a dedicated and skilled Mobile Plant Engineer looking to advance your career with a globally recognized OEM, we would love to hear from you.
