ServiceNow Architect

We are seeking a ServiceNow Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions that meet the ITSM, ITAM, and change management needs of IT projects for a public sector organization. This role will collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions leveraging the ServiceNow platform, drawing on a deep understanding of ServiceNow capabilities and best practices to architect solutions that meet the organization''s needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Architecture: Design end-to-end ServiceNow solutions that align with business objectives and requirements. Develop technical architecture, data model, integrations, and workflows to support business processes.
• Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices, standards, and methodologies. Mentor team members on ServiceNow platform capabilities and implementation strategies.
• Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements. Translate requirements into technical specifications and design documents.
• Platform Development: Develop the ServiceNow platform using JavaScript, GlideScript, HTML, and CSS to meet specific business needs. Configure workflows, forms, UI policies, and catalog items.
• Integration: Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using REST APIs, SOAP, MID Servers, and other integration techniques. Ensure data integrity and security in integrations.
• Performance Optimization: Identify opportunities to optimize ServiceNow performance and scalability. Implement performance tuning measures and monitor system performance to ensure optimal operation.
• Governance and Compliance: Ensure adherence to governance, compliance, and security standards in ServiceNow implementations. Implement security controls, access restrictions, and audit mechanisms as necessary.
• Documentation and Training: Create technical documentation including design documents, architecture diagrams, and configuration guides. Provide training and knowledge transfer to team members and end-users.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture, modules, and components.
• Strong knowledge of the following ServiceNow modules: ITSM, ITOM, ITFM, HRSD, PPM, and SPM.
• Proven experience architecting and implementing complex ServiceNow solutions in enterprise environments.
• Experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST, SOAP, and other protocols.
• Experience with system diagramming and modeling using structured modeling languages (e.g., UML).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) certification.
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification.
