Full Stack Engineer (Java / Spring Boot / React)

job summary:

We are seeking a senior-level Full Stack Engineer to join our application development team onsite in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will drive the creation of scalable enterprise applications, designing robust microservices backends in Java and Spring Boot while crafting intuitive, responsive frontends in React.

responsibilities:

• Architect, develop, and scale REST APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build responsive frontend interfaces and user experiences using React.
• Integrate business process automation workflows using Camunda.
• Implement UI automation with Cypress and execute performance/load testing using JMeter.
• Collaborate within an Agile team to optimize system reliability, scalability, and code quality.

qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.

8+ years of hands-on software engineering and full-stack development experience.

Expert-level proficiency with Java and Spring Boot microservices architecture.

Demonstrated experience with React, API development, and automated testing tools.

Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.

Must be local to Houston, Texas and available to work 100% in-office.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure.

Hands-on familiarity with Terraform and Linux/Unix environments.

Knowledge of workflow engines (Camunda) and automated testing frameworks (Cypress, JMeter).
