Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Release & Defect Governance Manager to drive release execution, defect management, and cross-functional delivery governance for a large-scale enterprise program.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing complex technology programs, leading release and defect management activities, coordinating business and IT teams, and driving critical issues through resolution. This person will serve as a key point of contact for stakeholders, lead daily war-room discussions, track deliverables, and ensure teams remain accountable for meeting project milestones.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily war-room meetings and coordinate activities across business, technology, development, and QA teams.
• Drive end-to-end release management, defect tracking, issue resolution, and delivery governance.
• Monitor release schedules, project dependencies, risks, blockers, and outstanding action items.
• Ensure cross-functional teams take ownership and deliver assigned commitments on time.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve conflicts, remove roadblocks, and escalate critical issues when necessary.
• Track defects from identification through resolution, validation, and closure.
• Prepare and communicate regular status reports, executive updates, and delivery dashboards.
• Work closely with senior leadership and client stakeholders to maintain transparency and ensure successful program execution.
• Proactively identify delivery risks and drive corrective actions to keep releases on track.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience managing large-scale enterprise technology programs.
• Strong background in Release Management, Defect Management, and Program Governance.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams across business, development, QA, and IT.
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Ability to lead war rooms, manage escalations, and drive issues to closure.
• Strong ownership, decision-making, conflict-resolution, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and demanding delivery environment.
• Strong experience preparing executive-level status reports and communicating program progress.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Salesforce implementations or deployments.
• Exposure to B2B enterprise platforms and case management implementations.
• Experience managing complex enterprise technology releases and production deployments.
