The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to ongoing improvements in data quality, governance, processes and systems, while working within a complex and highly regulated manufacturing environment. About You We are looking for an experienced data professional who is comfortable working with both data and business stakeholders. You will ideally have: Previous experience working with business functions and understanding their associated data requirements Strong data management, analytical and problem-solving skills Experience working with SAP or another ERP system Experience managing, maintaining or analysing master/business data Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on data accuracy and integrity Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills Excellent investigative skills, with the ability to identify the root cause of data issues Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively with stakeholders across different departments A structured and methodical approach to managing data and resolving issues Experience within a manufacturing, healthcare, pharmaceutical, supply chain or operational environment would be advantageous What You'll Do Maintain and improve the quality, accuracy and integrity of business data within SAP and associated systems Manage master data requests, ensuring information is complete, accurate and correctly classified Create, update and maintain business, customer, material and product data Investigate data issues and discrepancies, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions Work closely with departments including Customer Service, Sales, Manufacturing, Technical/R&D and Quality Assurance Support data cleansing, validation and data improvement activities Ensure business data meets system, process and operational requirements Assist with the development and implementation of data processes, procedures and controls Support data governance and help ensure agreed standards are consistently followed Provide accurate and timely information to support business and operational decision-making Identify opportunities to improve data quality, processes and system usage Work collaboratively with IT and business teams to support system and process improvements Contribute to data-related projects, including data migration, cleansing and system changes where required The Opportunity This is a fantastic opportunity for a Business Data Specialist, Master Data Analyst, SAP Data Analyst or Data Quality professional looking to develop their career within a global organisation.
