Description

Robert Half is looking for an experienced Audit Manager to join our client's firm located in the Philadelphia area. This Audit Manager role combines client service, engagement oversight, and people leadership, making it ideal for someone who can guide audit work while building strong long-term relationships. The successful Audit Manager candidate will contribute to business development efforts, support high-quality attest delivery, and help mentor team members across the practice.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead audit and assurance engagements from planning through completion, ensuring work is delivered accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable standards.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop team members by providing guidance, feedback, and opportunities for career growth.
  • Strengthen client partnerships by serving as a reliable advisor who understands business needs and provides thoughtful insight.
  • Recognize opportunities to expand services within existing accounts and collaborate with colleagues to introduce relevant solutions.
  • Direct the preparation and review of U.S. GAAP financial statements and related attest deliverables.
  • Monitor engagement progress, manage budgets and deadlines, and maintain compliance with firm methodology and regulatory expectations.


Requirements

The ideal Audit Manager candidate should have a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Masters degree in Accounting. CPA preferred.


Other requirements for the Audit Manager position include and are not limited to:

  • 5+ years of tax experience
  • German writing and communication skills preferred
  • ProSystem fx Engagement experience preferred
  • CCH Axcess experience
  • Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills
  • People-oriented and willing to train, motivate, and develop staff
  • Strong planning, research, writing, and communication skills
