The Role
- Lead a team of network engineers in the design, implementation, and support of robust network infrastructure for demanding environments.
- Oversee Network Operations Center (NOC) functions to ensure high availability, security, and efficient incident response.
- Develop and architect network designs that adhere to strict industry standards and compliance requirements.
- Manage the installation and configuration of essential network equipment, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Conduct rigorous testing of network systems to guarantee functionality, optimal performance, and adherence to security protocols.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues during installation and testing phases.
What You'll Need
- A Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Expert knowledge of networking protocols, routing, and switching technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs).
- Deep understanding of enterprise network design principles, firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
- Proficiency with network management and troubleshooting tools, including ICMP, SNMPv3, and Syslog.
- Experience in installing, configuring, and deploying both physical networking equipment and Local Area Networks (LANs).
- Experience with the design and implementation of Wide Area Networks (WANs) utilizing Virtual Private Networking (VPN) technologies.
