The Role

• Lead the accounting and financial team, driving the hospital beyond its financial objectives.
• Manage billing, accounts receivable, cash receipts, collections, accounts payable, payroll, general ledger, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial reviews, budgets, and required state financial reports.
• Develop and implement plans to enhance operational efficiency in collaboration with leadership.
• Participate in hospital Governing Body committees and partnership boards as needed.
• Assist in monitoring compliance with Medicare regulations.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's Degree required (MBA preferred).
• Minimum of five years of hospital accounting experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial management and analysis principles.
• Experience in financial management, including labor management, revenue analysis, and expense management.
• Proven experience in budgeting (capital planning and operations).
• Demonstrated experience in creating and executing a strong internal control environment.
