Senior Full Stack Engineer

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will own capabilities across the stack, from backend services, APIs, data models, AI driven workflows, and third-party integrations to the React and Next.js experiences used by security and compliance teams. You will work closely with Product, DevOps, and engineering team to turn complex cybersecurity requirements into intuitive, reliable, production ready experiences.

We are looking for a strong full stack engineer with deep hands-on development experience, sound product judgment, a security engineering mindset, and a track record of building and operating production software. Experience with cybersecurity, enterprise security platforms, AI powered applications, or distributed SaaS systems is strongly preferred.

Specific Responsibilities

• Own Full-Stack Features End to End: Design, build, test, and deliver capabilities across React and Next.js interfaces, Node.js services, APIs, data models, and integrations.
• Build Data-Intensive Product Experiences: Develop responsive dashboards, workflows, tables, visualizations, and real-time experiences that make complex security and compliance data easy to understand and act on.
• Develop Secure Backend Services: Build scalable TypeScript and Node.js services with strong authentication, authorization, RBAC, tenant isolation, validation, and error handling.
• Design and Integrate APIs: Develop REST APIs and integrate security, identity, cloud, DevOps, and enterprise platforms using resilient patterns for retries rate limits, failures, and observability.
• Engineer the Data Layer: Model and optimize workloads across PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, and related data services, selecting the appropriate technology for each use case.
• Build AI-Enabled Capabilities: Integrate LLM and machine learning services and translate their outputs into clear, actionable product experiences with appropriate confidence, evidence, and user controls.
• Engineer for Production: Containerize services, deploy to Kubernetes, and build in logging, metrics, health checks, tracing, performance, and operational diagnostics.
• Drive Engineering Quality: Build automated unit, integration, API, and end-to-end tests and maintain high standards through code reviews and sound engineering practices.
• Provide Technical Leadership: Contribute to architecture decisions, improve existing systems, mentor other engineers, and help establish reusable development patterns across the platform.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Professional Experience: 7+ years of professional software development experience building and shipping production applications across frontend and backend systems.
• Full-Stack Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript, React, Node.js, and modern web application architecture.
• Frontend Development: Experience building scalable, data-heavy applications using React and modern frameworks such as Next.js.
• Backend & API Development: Strong experience building Node.js services and REST APIs, including authentication, authorization, validation, and secure application design.
• Data Engineering: Strong SQL and relational data modeling skills, plus experience with document databases, caching, queues, or distributed data technologies.
• Cloud & Containers: Experience with Docker and working knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud-hosted production environments.
• Testing & Reliability: Strong experience with automated testing, production debugging, observability, and failure handling.
• Systems Thinking: Ability to understand how frontend, services, APIs, integrations, data stores, and infrastructure work together as a complete system.
• Ownership & Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with evolving requirements, make sound technical decisions, and collaborate closely with Product, DevOps, UX, and engineering teams.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Preferred Experience: Cybersecurity products or security operations tooling, enterprise SaaS, Azure, multi-tenant platforms, AI or LLM applications, and frameworks such as NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, CMMC, SOC 2, or ISO 27001.

Compensation: $175,000 - $180,000 per year. This is the targeted compensation range for this role. Please note that this range is provided as a guideline and the final offer will be based on several factors, including but not limited to, skillset and competencies, level of experience, education, certifications, and location.
