Job Description

Schlosser / Metallbauer als Monteur | Oldenburg (Oldenburg), Germany | On-site This employer is seeking a skilled Metalworker / Fitter to contribute to critical infrastructure projects across Northern Germany. The role involves constructing and modernizing substations, playing a direct part in achieving climate protection goals and advancing the energy transition. The Role • Assembly of steel structures in medium, high, and extra-high voltage substations (up to 380kV). • Installation of high-voltage and medium-voltage equipment, including electrical systems and components. • Performing various mechanical connections such as screw and crimp fittings, pipe, and cable assembly. • Reviewing and marking up technical documentation (plan revisions). • Contributing to the successful realization of new construction and modernization projects for substations. What You'll Need • Completed vocational training as a metalworker, industrial mechanic, construction mechanic, plant mechanic, or equivalent qualification. • Previous experience in metalworking, preferably within construction, mechanical engineering, energy, or manufacturing sectors. • Ideally, experience working safely with electrical installations. • A valid driver's license (Class B) and willingness to travel to work sites by private car. • Readiness for regular on-site assignments from Monday to Thursday, including overnight stays in Northern Germany. • Good German language skills and a proactive, motivated approach to work.
