The Role

• Conduct analysis and evaluations of submarine platform maneuvering performance from concept design through in-service support.
• Develop, verify, and validate mathematical maneuvering models using physical model test data.
• Collaborate with enterprise partners to enhance modeling capabilities, processes, and toolsets.
• Partner with Naval Architecture teams and customers to deliver innovative and safe submarine solutions.
• Support and conduct hydrodynamic sea trials.

What You'll Need

• Prior experience in the generation of ship or submarine maneuvering modeling.
• Strong understanding of hydrodynamic principles and methods.
• Degree in Naval Architecture, Aeronautical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Eligibility for security clearance (Baseline Personnel Security Standard minimum, with potential for higher levels requiring continuous UK residency).
