Job Description
The Digital Solutions Senior Product Owner is responsible for the vision, strategy, and execution of AI-driven digital capabilities that serve financial advisors and their end clients. This role owns product strategy, experience design, and delivery for intelligent, client- and advisor-facing experiences, with a particular focus on Generative AI and applied AI use cases across the wealth management journey. This role combines strong digital product ownership skills with analytical rigor, applied AI literacy, and wealth management domain knowledge. The individual will lead complex initiatives in a fast-paced, matrixed environment, collaborating across product, technology, data, UX, compliance, and business teams. This role also contributes to testing, training, go-to-market activities, and ongoing support, often operating on sensitive, high-priority initiatives.
Core Responsibilities:
Drive the success of advisor- and client-facing AI capabilities by ensuring alignment with user needs, business goals, regulatory considerations, and market trends.
Proactively identify where Generative and Applied AI can solve customer friction points.
Define and evolve product vision, roadmap, backlog and associated OKRs for Generative AI and applied AI features.
Collaborate with financial advisors, internal stakeholders, and end clients to co-design intuitive and trusted AI-enabled experiences.
Lead discovery efforts including research, wireframes, prototypes, and proof-of-value pilots.
Gather and document requirements, write user stories and acceptance criteria.
Create user journeys, process flows, and support documentation.
Monitor AI and wealth tech industry trends; conduct market and competitive research to translate insights into actionable product strategy.
Partner with engineering, UX, data, and testing teams to deliver solutions.
Support go-to-market planning, training, and internal enablement.
Act as Product Owner within an agile delivery team, representing advisor and client needs.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
8+ years of digital product management or product ownership experience.
Financial services experience with strong knowledge of wealth management, wealth tech ecosystem and providers, and advisor workflows.
Experience working with or delivering AI-enabled products.
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work on sensitive initiatives and influence across teams.
User-centered design and Lean experimentation experience.
Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Hands-on experience delivering Generative AI features.
Strong conceptual understanding of LLMs, Machine Learning, and modern AI platform ecosystems
Familiarity with the wealth tech ecosystem and digital platforms.
Understanding of AI governance, compliance, and risk in financial services.
Naturally curious, creative, and innovative mindset.
Exceptional communication and executive presentation skills.
Entrepreneurial, adaptable, and collaborative working style.
Minimum Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
8+ years of digital product management or product ownership experience.
Financial services experience with strong knowledge of wealth management, wealth tech ecosystem and providers, and advisor workflows.
Travel Requirements: Up to 10%
