GCP Senior DevOps Consultant - Inside IR35 - £500+

Location: UK Wide Locations/WFH
Contract: 6 months

We are looking for an experienced GCP Senior DevOps Consultant to help design, automate and operate scalable cloud-native platforms within a large enterprise environment.

The successful consultant will have strong hands-on experience across Google Cloud Platform (GCP), GKE, Kubernetes, Terraform and Jenkins, with a solid background in Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD automation and DevSecOps.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build and operate scalable cloud-native platforms across GCP and GKE
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible, Python and Shell Scripting
• Build and support enterprise Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, including Groovy scripted and multi-branch pipelines
• Manage containerised application builds and deployments using Docker, Kubernetes and Helm
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment and pipeline issues while integrating monitoring and DevSecOps tooling

Essential Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, GKE and Kubernetes
• Excellent knowledge of Docker, Helm, Terraform and Ansible
• Strong Jenkins CI/CD, Groovy pipelines and Git experience
• Experience with Python, Bash/Shell Scripting and Linux/Unix administration
• Strong knowledge of DevSecOps, monitoring, networking, Firewalls and hybrid-cloud environments
• GCP certification
• CKA/CKAD certification
• Cloud SQL and Memorystore
• Enterprise networking and API platforms
• SRE and Agile delivery experience
