SEN/SEND Tutor | Ellesmere Port, United Kingdom | Hybrid | £28 - £35 per hour

The Role

• Provide in-person, online, or hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to children and young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
• Support pupils ranging from KS1 - KS5 with planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan and report for lessons, providing regular feedback on student progress.
• Work with schools and local authorities to support disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners.
• Contribute to a mission to raise the standard of education for young people with various learning difficulties.

What You'll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS).
• 2+ years of teaching experience, ideally working with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed way.
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
• Based in the UK with the right to work.
