Description

?Varen, an SAIC company is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our team. This position in located in Suitland, MD and requires an active TS/SCI with polygraph to be considered.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provides high-performance, highly available networking services to support business and mission needs.
• Responsible for engineering and operational assignments related to deployed solutions backed by Cisco and SolarWinds on multi-level IT systems.
• Provides O&M support for networking devices (switches, routers, firewalls, encryption devices, copper/fiber connectivity).
• Supports internal escalation tiers for advanced troubleshooting and rapid remediation of networking challenges.
• Maintains documentation for networking systems, subsystems, and components, including capacity and performance plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelors and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Masters and twelve (12) years or more experience; PhD or JD and nine (9) years or more experience. Experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.
• Cisco and SolarWinds required.
• TS/SCI with polygraph.

Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
