Database Server Administrator with Security Clearance

Database Server Administrator Location: Washington DC, DC, 20001 Job Description: The Database Server Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's database servers. This includes installing, configuring, and upgrading database software, as well as monitoring and optimizing server performance. The Database Server Administrator will also be responsible for ensuring data security and integrity, and for developing and implementing backup and recovery procedures. Responsibilities: * Install, configure, and upgrade database software. * Monitor and optimize server performance. * Ensure data security and integrity. * Develop and implement backup and recovery procedures. * Collaborate with other IT staff to troubleshoot and resolve database issues. * Provide technical support to end-users. * Document database configurations and procedures. Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field * Minimum of 3 years of experience in database administration * Clearance: SECRET * Experience with database software such as Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL * Knowledge of database security and backup and recovery procedures * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
