Sr Databricks Pipeline / Connectivity Engineer

Vaco is assisting our client for a full time, direct placement Databricks Engineer role in Charlotte, NC. Ideally a candidate that is local to Charlotte as this role is hybrid on-site and must be W2 with no sponsorship as this is a full time role. 

Would also consider a strong Databricks connectivity engineer with experience in the HVAC/manufacturing industry that is interested in relocating

Required skills:

• 5–10+ years in data engineering / pipeline engineering
• Deep hands-on experience with:
  • Databricks (required)
  • PySpark
  • Delta Lake
• Proven experience building:
  • Data pipelines across multiple disconnected systems
  • Scalable ingestion frameworks
• Manufacturing or HVAC industry experience

• Design and implement robust ingestion pipelines across highly fragmented environments (multiple ERPs, isolated networks, legacy systems)
• Build connectivity across:
  • ERP systems (e.g., Great Plains, SAP, Infor, custom systems)
  • APIs, flat files, streaming sources, and third-party platforms
