Job description

We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Tester with 8–10 years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Selenium, preferably Katalon Studio, and expertise in test script creation, execution, maintenance, and defect tracking. The candidate will collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure software quality and deliver reliable applications.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium or Katalon Studio.
Create and execute test scripts based on business requirements and functional specifications.
Develop and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and automation test suites.
Perform functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.
Identify, document, track, and retest defects to ensure timely resolution.
Analyze test results, troubleshoot automation failures, and prepare test execution reports.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to resolve quality issues.
Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks and test scripts.
Participate in test planning, test strategy discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure adequate test coverage and compliance with quality standards.
Required Skills
8–10 years of experience in software testing and QA automation.
Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
Experience with Katalon Studio is highly preferred.
Proven experience in test script creation, execution, debugging, and maintenance.
Good understanding of functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.
Experience in test case design, defect management, and test reporting.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with automation frameworks and reusable test components.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Knowledge of programming or scripting languages used in test automation.
Experience with test management and defect-tracking tools.
Exposure to CI/CD integration for automated test execution.
