Job Description
Responsibilities Noblis is seeking Data Analysts to work in dynamic mission-oriented environment within McLean, Virginia. A successful data analyst candidate will be responsible for designing and developing methods and processes to consolidate and analyze structured and unstructured data from diverse sources, including big data environments. This role combines traditional data analysis with advanced analytics capabilities to drive organizational decision-making and business performance.
Job Responsibilities
- Designing and developing methods and processes to collect, consolidate, transform, and analyze structured and unstructured data from diverse sources, including big data environments.
- Developing and maintaining automated scripts, configuration controls, database queries, and repeatable analytical solutions to support efficient data discovery and analysis.
- Applying statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and spatial-temporal analysis to identify trends, patterns, relationships, and insights in support of intelligence operations.
- Integrating data from multiple sources, including all-source intelligence, to develop comprehensive analysis and support mission objectives and informed decision-making.
- Developing data visualizations, dashboards, and analytical products using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Excel to communicate complex findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Conducting data quality assessments, identifying gaps and anomalies, and implementing processes to improve the accuracy, consistency, and usability of analytical datasets.
- Collaborating with intelligence analysts, technical teams, and mission partners to translate analytical requirements into data-driven solutions and actionable insights.
- Supporting continuous mission operations while maintaining awareness of emerging data analytics technologies, tools, and methodologies to improve intelligence production and organizational performance. Required Qualifications
- Experience developing and maintaining automated scripts, configuration controls, and repeatable database query solutions that enable efficient data discovery and analysis across multiple data sources.
- Experience applying statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and spatial-temporal analysis to identify trends and support intelligence operations.
- Experience creating data visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Excel to communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences while integrating all-source intelligence to support mission objectives and informed decision-making. Required minimum skills and knowledge:
- US Citizenship is required.
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Polygraph. Multiple levels can be accommodated.
- Junior Level:
- Bachelor's degree OR Master's OR PhD with 0 years of experience OR Associate's degree with 3 years of experience OR High-School with 6 years of experience.
- Compensation: $68,200 - $106,525
- Journeyman:
- Bachelor's degree with 3 years of experience OR Master's Degree with 1 year of experience OR PhD with 0 years of experience OR Associate's degree with 6 years of experience OR High-School with 9 years of experience
- Compensation: $82,500 - $128,925
- Senior Level:
- Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience OR Master's Degree with 3 years of experience OR PhD with 1 year of experience OR Associate's degree with 8 years of experience OR High-School with 11 years of experience
- Compensation: $99,800 - $156,050 Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience working with an intelligence community department or agency.
- Experience working with National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC) missions, policies, and procedures.
- Experience utilizing NCTC systems to support timely, accurate, and mission-focused intelligence products.
- Experience supporting continuous mission operations with the ability to support shift differentials.

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked.
While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis' total compensation package. Posted Salary Range USD $68,200.00 - USD $156,050.00 /Yr.
