We are partnering with a highly respected organisation dedicated to transforming the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs (SEND) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Our mission-driven community provides impactful support through innovative and trauma-informed approaches.

The Role

• Provide in-person, remote, and hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science to children and young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
• Support pupils from KS1 to KS5, planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Collaborate with schools and local authorities to meet the educational needs of vulnerable learners.
• Plan and report for lessons, providing regular feedback on student progress.
• Work with a diverse range of learning difficulties, including MLD, SLD, and PMLD.
• Contribute to raising the standard of education for young people with additional needs.

What You'll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS).
• A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, with a preference for working with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD.
• Familiarity teaching core subjects: English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
• Enhanced DBS check (assistance provided if needed) and professional references.
• Right to work in the UK.
