The Role • Provide exceptional gastronomic service to guests on Intercity and ICE trains. • Create a welcoming atmosphere and assist guests with boarding and alighting. • Prepare food and beverages in the onboard restaurant. • Serve gastronomic offerings to guests in both 1st and 2nd class. • Act as a competent point of contact for guest inquiries, offering advice and support. What You'll Need • Completed vocational training in a service-oriented profession (e.g., restaurant or hotel specialist) or equivalent experience in gastronomy/hospitality. • Proven ability to achieve sales targets through upselling and cross-selling. • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a knack for handling customer interactions and resolving conflicts. • Adaptability to digital communication tools. • Willingness to undertake overnight stays and work irregular shift patterns. • Proficiency in German (B2 level) and conversational English.
