EDI / Healthcare QA Test Lead

Position Details

• Role: IT Senior Automation Test Lead
• Location: Raleigh, NC
• Work Arrangement: Hybrid

Key Responsibilities

• Automation & Scripting: Script, build, and execute automated test suites for web applications and critical systems.
• EDI & Claims Testing: Develop and execute test scripts for HIPAA X12 EDI Transactions (837I, 837P, NCPDP D.0) and healthcare claims processing.
• Test Strategy & Execution: Assess requirement testability, create robust test cases from design documents, and execute functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Defect & Test Management: Utilize tools like JIRA and HP ALM for tracking, reporting, and defect resolution.
• Collaboration: Draft QA/Business documentation, write complex SQL queries for validation, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Must-Have Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ Years: Functional, Integration, Regression Testing & Test Case Development from BRDs/SDDs
• 3+ Years: Healthcare Claims Processing & Web Application Testing
• 2+ Years: HIPAA X12 EDI Transactions (837I, 837P, NCPDP D.0) & SQL Query Development
• 2+ Years: Test/Defect Management Tools (JIRA / HP ALM) & Agile Methodology
• 1+ Years: Hands-on Automation Scripting (Automated Test Suites)
• Bonus: Strong cross-functional communication and experience partnering with business teams.
