About the Opportunity
Viking Bank is seeking a
Part-Time Accounting & Finance Assistant to support our Finance and Operations teams. This position is ideal for students pursuing a degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field who are looking to gain valuable hands-on experience while continuing their education. What You’ll Do
Assist with account reconciliations
Support financial reporting and analysis
Enter and maintain financial records with accuracy
Assist with accounts payable and invoice processing
Prepare spreadsheets and validate data
Conduct research and support special projects
Provide administrative support to Finance and Operations teams
Help maintain organized and confidential financial information
What We’re Looking For
Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
