The Role • Operate specialized heavy equipment (hostlers, cranes, top loaders, side loaders) to move shipping containers. • Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks efficiently and safely. • Position containers and chassis within the intermodal yard using hostlers. • Stack, move, and organize containers according to operational needs. • Conduct pre- and post-use inspections on equipment to ensure functionality and safety. • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to coordinate daily logistics tasks. What You'll Need • A valid driver's license is mandatory. • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks. • Willingness to work flexible hours, including all shifts, weekends, and holidays. • Strong commitment to safety protocols and attention to detail. • Basic communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and climb ladders/stairs.
