Oniste Support Engineer (Electro-Mechanical) Watford, Hertfordshire (Office Based Monday to Friday) Salary: Up to £47,000 + Benefits

Our client is investing heavily in the growth of its UK engineering operation and is looking for several Junior Remote Support Engineers to join a newly created technical support team based at its Watford Head Office.

This is an excellent opportunity for engineers with a solid mechanical and electrical background who are looking to develop their careers within a highly technical environment supporting sophisticated automated equipment.

Youll receive ongoing training and work alongside experienced engineers while developing your skills across mechanical, electrical and software diagnostics.

The Role

Youll provide first and second-line technical support to engineers working in the field, assisting with diagnostics, troubleshooting and technical problem resolution.

Responsibilities include:

Supporting field engineers with technical fault diagnosis

Investigating mechanical, electrical and software issues

Assisting with remote troubleshooting and machine diagnostics

Escalating more complex technical issues where appropriate

Logging technical information accurately

Working closely with engineering and operations teams

Continuously developing your product and technical knowledge

About You

Youll be an enthusiastic engineer who enjoys solving problems and learning new technology.

Youll ideally have:

Mechanical engineering knowledge

Electrical fault-finding skills

Basic understanding of IT systems and software

Strong communication skills

Analytical and logical thinking

A positive, team-focused attitude

Desire to build a long-term engineering career

Experience from any of the following backgrounds would be welcomed:
