🔹 Role: R&D Director – Clinical Systems
We are looking for a senior Clinical Systems / R&D IT / Data & Analytics leader with strong pharmaceutical or healthcare industry experience to lead clinical operational data, analytics strategy, technical programs, and high-performing teams.
🔹 Key Requirements
✅ 15+ years of progressive experience in IT Data Analytics / Business Intelligence / related fields
✅ 10+ years of Pharmaceutical or Healthcare industry experience
✅ 8+ years of direct people management
✅ 6+ years of technical project management / leadership
✅ Proven ownership of complex, end-to-end analytics solutions
✅ Strong experience managing complex technical projects and multiple teams
✅ Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform and modern data platforms
✅ Experience with Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, Data Marts, ETL & APIs
✅ Experience with AI/ML, serverless computing, and modern analytics platforms
✅ Strong expertise with Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Qlik, and/or ThoughtSpot
✅ Clinical Systems experience with platforms such as Veeva, Salesforce, Medidata, or custom clinical applications
✅ Experience with GxP, CSV/Validation, UAT, audit readiness, and data integrity
✅ Strong understanding of SDLC, technical architecture, program governance, risk management, and resource planning
✅ Excellent executive communication, stakeholder management, influencing, coaching, and negotiation skills
🔹 Key Responsibilities
• Define and oversee the Clinical Operational Data & Analytics Strategy
• Lead multiple high-complexity technical projects and teams
• Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing organization
• Develop short- and long-term Clinical Systems strategies and roadmaps
• Partner with business and IT leadership on enterprise technical strategy
• Oversee scalable clinical data architectures, pipelines, APIs, and ETL
• Ensure GxP compliance, validation, testing, UAT, audit readiness, and data integrity
• Lead solution design and execution of major programs
• Manage budgets, resources, risks, deliverables, and project governance
• Support R&D applications and clinical systems optimization
• Serve as a senior technical/data strategy leader across Clinical Systems and IT
🎓 Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, IT, or related discipline preferred.
