Job Description

CURA of Watkins is seeking compassionate and attentive Home Care Aides to join our Garden View Assisted Living team. As a Home Care Aide, you will provide essential support and personal care to clients in their homes, promoting their comfort, independence, and well-being. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, ensuring a safe environment, and offering companionship. We have a few opportunities, including:

Full-time days: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM,

Part-time Evenings: 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM (Shift Differential +$2)

Part-time Nights: 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM (Shift Differential +$3)

Wage starts at: $17.00 + Experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with personal care tasks including dressing, grooming, and other daily tasks.
  • Support clients with medication administration as needed.
  • Help with light housekeeping.
  • Monitor clients’ health status and report any changes to healthcare supervisors.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support.
  • Follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Adhere to safety and infection control standards.
  • Previous experience in home care or similar roles is an advantage.
  • Compassionate, patient-focused, and reliable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Willingness to follow care plans and work independently.
  • Certification in Home Care or related field preferred but not required.
  • Reliable transportation for travel to client homes.
