Social Media Manager

The role will focus on developing and delivering engaging social media activity that strengthens brand awareness, supports marketing objectives and communicates innovative aerospace developments to a range of audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with wider marketing objectives
• Plan, create and publish engaging content across relevant social media platforms
• Manage the social media content calendar and ensure consistent brand messaging
• Communicate aerospace projects, technology, achievements and industry news in an accessible way
• Monitor audience engagement, respond to enquiries and support community management
• Track campaign performance and prepare reports with recommendations for improvement
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify content opportunities and maintain accurate communications
• Keep up to date with social media trends, platform developments and aerospace industry activity

Job Requirements:

• Experience in social media management, digital marketing or marketing communications
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, content planning and audience engagement
• Excellent written communication and copywriting skills
• Ability to translate technical or aerospace-related information into clear and engaging content
• Understanding of social media analytics and performance reporting
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Creative thinking and excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively with technical, commercial and marketing teams
